2020 Ford Bronco Preview

The Ford Bronco was one of the world’s leading 4x4 vehicles for three decades. Now, it’s back again, and many Maitland, Orlando, and Winter Park shoppers want a closer look. In this 2020 Ford Bronco preview, you can see how this iconic SUV is expected to make its return.

2020 Bronco: Exterior Style

The 2020 Bronco is expected to make its debut as a capable SUV to rival some of the best off-roaders in the market, including the Jeep Wrangler. We expect the Bronco to be offered in both 2-door and 4-door configurations. In addition, the SUV is believed to offer a removable roof and doors that you can store in the trunk.

As a result, the Bronco is set to hit the roads as a versatile adventure vehicle! One difference between it and the Jeep Wrangler? It appears the Bronco will have its mirrors mounted on the A-pillars rather than the doors themselves. This way, you’ll still have the mirrors when you remove those doors.

Meanwhile, you’ll get a “Bronco” logo that stretches across the front grille. It’s a dynamic touch that will help this vehicle flaunt its boldness.

All-Star Performance Specs

Little is known for certain yet when it comes to the engine under the hood. However, it has been reported that the Ford Bronco may offer a 2.7L EcoBoost® V6. You can also find this powerplant in the Ford F-150, where it delivers 325 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque.

Another possibility? The Bronco is built on the Ford Ranger platform and may adopt its 2.3L EcoBoost® 4-cylinder engine. In the latter vehicle, this engine generates 270 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque.

It seems certain that a hybrid version of the Bronco will appear at some point. Ford has gone on record saying they plan on electrifying the Bronco, so you may find some version of the hybrid system available.

SUV Technology Features

The 2020 Bronco is expected to offer many of the technology features you can find in other Ford vehicles. For instance, it will likely come with the SYNC® 3 infotainment system, which is often available with a wide touchscreen. Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ are generally part of the package, too.

Other Ford features that may make an appearance include MyKey®, the driver-monitoring system. It lets you set limits for secondary drivers, including on speed and audio volume. There’s a good chance you may find some version of the Ford Co-Pilot360™ suite of driver-assist features as well.
